The Next Step in Your Classical Pilates Journey

After completing the Basic System, many teachers face a critical crossroads: dilute the method with modern trends, or deepen your understanding of Joseph Pilates’ complete system?

The Classical Pilates Teacher Training: Intermediate System is your definitive answer. This 50-hour intensive builds directly on your foundational knowledge, elevating your practice and teaching to a more sophisticated, dynamic, and authentic level—exactly as Joseph Pilates intended.

Under the guidance of Teacher Ole Eugenio, you’ll move beyond memorizing exercises to truly understanding the method’s architecture—how breath, rhythm, and progression create transformation. This isn’t just “more advanced Pilates.” This is Classical Pilates at its most refined.

“The difference between a good teacher and a great teacher is understanding not just what to teach, but when, why, and how to progress.”
— Teacher Ole Eugenio

Only 10 graduates of the Basic System will be accepted for the February 2026 cohort.

What are people saying about the teacher training?

Why the Intermediate System Transforms Teachers

Continuity, Not Chaos

Unlike programs that abandon systematic progression for trendy variations, this training maintains Joseph Pilates’ original sequence and integrity. Every advanced exercise builds logically on what you mastered in the Basic System—no gaps, no confusion, no compromised technique.

True Teaching Mastery

You’ll learn to:

  • Recognize readiness in clients for intermediate work (beyond just “they can do the basic version”)
  • Apply intelligent progressions that maintain safety while increasing challenge
  • Master advanced cueing that addresses breath timing, muscular engagement, and spatial awareness simultaneously
  • Develop confident decision-making when clients struggle—knowing when to regress, when to persist, and when to modify

Complete Apparatus Integration

This training doesn’t isolate equipment—it integrates them. You’ll learn how:

  • Reformer work prepares students for Cadillac complexity
  • Chair exercises build the strength needed for Barrel inversions
  • Mat principles anchor all apparatus work
  • Transitions between apparatus create seamless session flow

Essential Prerequisite: Basic System Completion

To ensure all participants enter the Intermediate System training ready to advance—not struggle—you must have completed the Classical Pilates Teacher Training: Basic System with certification.

This requirement is not optional—it’s the foundation upon which all Intermediate System material builds. Without this prerequisite, you cannot access the logical progressions, advanced choreography, and teaching complexities that define authentic Classical Pilates at the intermediate level.
 Verification Requirements
  • Official Certificate of Attendance from your Basic System training
  • Minimum of 100 hours teaching practice after Basic System certification (verified through teaching logs) message us for more info.

Why This Matters

The Intermediate System isn’t simply “harder exercises”—it’s a sophisticated deepening of the complete Classical system. These prerequisites ensure:

  • You understand Joseph Pilates’ original progression logic
  • Your teaching eye can recognize readiness for advanced work
  • The entire cohort progresses at the same technical level
  • No time is wasted reviewing foundational material
Note: Applications without verified Basic System completion will be automatically declined. No exceptions are made to preserve the quality and integrity of Classical Pilates instruction.
